Rock bottom territory. A 1-6 week weighs heavy on the score. Pair that with the 4-run loss last night is the heaviest factor today.

Athletics News

The Oakland Athletics continued to struggle with a disheartening 6-2 loss against the Detroit Tigers, marking their fourth straight defeat as they remain stuck in fourth place with a 41-49 record. J.T. Ginn, facing off against reigning Cy Young winner Tarek Skubal, couldn't deliver the needed spark after a rough week that saw the A's go 1-6 with a staggering -21 run differential. Thankfully, the return of All-Star shortstop Jacob Wilson could provide a much-needed boost, but it's hard to overlook the A's mounting woes, especially with their pitching staff yielding 7.3 runs per game recently. As they strive to regain momentum, the A's must hope that a healthier roster can jump-start a rally in the second half of the season.
