Twins News
The Minnesota Twins made a bold move today by designating Orlando Arcia for assignment to make room for outfield prospect Kyler Fedko, who is lighting it up at Triple-A. After a tumultuous stretch that saw the team drop 5 of their last 7 games with a staggering -19 run differential, the Twins are looking for a spark. With a record of 32-40, the hope is that Fedko, who joins Byron Buxton and an emergent Ryan Kreidler, who recently drove in a key run,can rekindle the offense. The recent win against the Cardinals gives a glimmer of hope, but until the pitching stops allowing nearly 7 runs per game, fans shouldn't get too excited. The Twins must find consistency if they hope to claw back into contention.
