Arizona Diamondbacks News & Updates

Arizona Diamondbacks Headlines

The Diamondbacks took another step back in their spring campaign, falling 7-4 to the Giants and extending their losing streak to four games, a disappointing trend after their five-game winning run. Gabriel Moreno provided an early spark with a first-inning home run, but the momentum quickly fizzled out as Kohl Drake struggled on the mound. Meanwhile, Corbin Carroll, still on the mend from his broken hamate bone, is inching closer to returning to action, eyeing ten at-bats before the regular season kicks off. On the positive side, Paul Sewald's recent work has led to an impressive uptick in velocity, which could prove vital as the bullpen continues to solidify. With the season fast approaching, the D-backs need to find their footing soon if they want to make an impact in the competitive NL West.
